Weekend preview 14/15 July

A low-key weekend after last week’s RTTC National 100-Mile Championships although many of the riders from that event are back in action this week. Women’s Champion Alice Lethbridge (Drag2Zero) must be a glutton for punishment as she rides another `100`. the East District CA Championship. Charles Mitchell (...a3crg) is one of the leading men.

Third in the Men’s Championship. Adam Duggleby (Vive le Velo) rides the Darlington CC `25` where Simon Beldon (Team Bottrill-Vanguard) is also present. Just outside the medals in fourth place in the `100`, Stuart Travis (Team Bottrill) goes for the Hounslow & District Wheelers `25` which also has Liam Maybank (Twickenham CC) in the line-up.

A week before he rides the RTTC 24-Hour Championship, Victor Chetta (Arctic Tacx RT) stretches his legs in the SCCA & WCTTA `100` where Helen Tudor (Oswestry Paragon) is among the women riding. 

Derek Parkinson (Springfield Financial RT) and Richard Bickley (Border City Wheelers) are among the entries for the Border City Wheelers’ `10` and 25-mile events over the weekend.

Karen Ledger (Team Bottrill), fourth in the Championship `100`, goes for the BDCA `50` which also includes Lynne Biddulph (Born to Bike) while Jackie Field (CC Ashwell), fifth in the `100`, has a shorter ride this week in the Northampton & District CA `10` where Team Bottrill-Vanguard field George Fox, Mark Bottrill and Geoff Platts

Elsewhere we have Ben Lane (GS Metro) going for the Blaydon CC `14`: Christopher Fennell (The Independent Pedaler) rides the VTTA (Kent) `50`: Brett Harwood (Team Bottrill) and Ross Clarke (TMG Horizon RT) feature in the Team Cambridge `10`.
