Great conditions led to some fast times up and down the country, with course records falling and many riders setting new personal bests.

In Essex Colin Ward broke his own course record at the Southend Wheelers 50 on Sunday, setting a blistering time of 1:44.12 to take the win.
The 40-year-old Essex Roads CC rider was one of two riders to break the record for the E21/50 last year, but further lowered the mark this year, while fastest female was Helena Hayes (London Women’s Racing) with 2-19-09.
In Bedfordshire, Ross Clarke (TMG Horizon Cycling Team) knocked 19 seconds off his personal best en route to winning the Finsbury Park CC 50 with a time of 1-43-45, while Helen Gravatt (CC Ashwell) was fastest female in 2-10-16.
Chris McNamara and Rosamund Bradbury were the winners at a hot Sussex CA 50 on Sunday.
McNamara (Nuun-Sigma Sport) clocked 1-46-10 for the G50/10 near Dial Post, while Bradbury was fastest female with 2-08-53.

Elsewhere, victory went to Stacie Ginieres and Gavin MacDougall in the Penzance Wheelers 25-mile time trial, staged in Cornwall on Sunday morning.
Ginieres clocked 1-00-23 to win the women’s category by almost two minutes from team-mate Martina Geraghty, while Tavistock Wheelers’ MacDougall clocked 52-40 to take victory by just three seconds from Mid-Devon CC rival Lee Sanderson.
In Scotland, Douglas Watson was too quick for the rest of the field at the Law Wheelers 25 on Sunday as the veteran GTR - Return to Life rider recorded the fastest time of the day with 52-46. Laura Nicolson of Dooleys RT topped the women’s podium with a time of 1-03-02.
John Lucock of Born to Bike – Bridgtown Cycles was the quickest man in the Port Sunlight 10 in Cheshire on Saturday, with Hetty Niblett taking the women’s prize.
Lucock clocked 2-054 for the Farndon course, while Niblett’s time was 23-25.

In Gloucestershire, Matt Burden (73 Degrees CC) was winner of the Severn CC 10 on Saturday. His time of 20-45 was 23 seconds quicker than Dean Ware (Team Backstedt) in second, while the fastest woman was Emma Angove (73 Degrees CC) with 25-05.
And Samuel Wadsley led a one-two for Primera-Teamjobs in the Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers 25, clocking 50-10 to beat team-mate Paul Jones by 1-06 on the P413 course near Lytchett Matravers, while Michelle Walter (Bournemouth Arrow CC) was fastest of the women in 1-04-24.

In Lincolnshire, Matt Sinclair made it six out of six in open events so far this season with a time of 51-31 and victory in the Witham Wheelers 25 near Silk Willoughby, while Wendy Gooding (Team Bottrill-Vanguard) clocked 1-02-38 to finish as fastest woman.
And in Kent, Dan Martin (Univ of Bath CC) was the winner in the VTTA Kent 10 near Reculver with a time of 19-22, while Charmaine Pullen (Folkestone Velo) was fastest female with 23-38.
