Looks like being a quiet couple of days one week before the first of this season’s RTTC National time trial Championships, the circuit title event at Burton Fleming, near Bridlington.

A mixture of `10s`, `25s` and `50s` are on offer this weekend. Dimension Data professional Scott Davies is an interesting entry for the Sportzmad `25` on the R25/3H where Matt Langworthy (Saint Piran), Gavin Hinxman (Drag2Zero), Crystal Spearman (NOPINZ) and Joanna Knight (Bristol South CC) are also listed.

Winner of last Monday’s Anfield BC `100`, Marc Turnbull (TORQ Performance) rides the Salford CC `25` while Leon Wright (Race Hub), winner of the last round of the Knight Composites Classic TT Series, rides the Nottingham Clarion `50`, which incorporates the National Clarion Championship. Adam Duggleby (Vive le Velo), Scott Walker and Chris Ledger (Team Bottrill-Vanguard) and Peter Nicholls (Race Hub) also ride while Alex Deck (Rutland CC) is among the women.

Shorter events include the Blaydon CC 18-mile time trial at Ponteland with Danny Grieves (GS Metro) and the East Bradford CC Spoco `15` with Richard Sharp (Team Swift) and Sarah Lewthwaite (Team Sportslab). Former women’s 10-mile Champion Julia Freeman (Easterley RC) is among the competitors for the Elite CC `10`.
