Weekend preview 23/24 September

As the RTTC National Hill Climb Championship approaches the weekend has plenty of anti-gravity events scheduled. Defending National Champion Adam Kenway (Team Raleigh GAC) is in action in the Glossop Kinder Velo event where he faces Andy Cunningham (All Terrain Cycles) who has been winning most weekends  and Julian Ramsbottom (Pedal Pushers)

Former Champion Dan Evans (ASSOS Equipe UK) and his wife Jessica are on winning form and go for the four-mile Minehead CC hill-climb where opposition includes Ed Laverack (JLT Condor), Thomas Baylis (One Pro Cycling), Joe Norledge (Bristol South  CC)  and Maryka Sennema (Paceline RT).

 

Stocksbridge CC offers two events for those who like to have a full day of torture. Callum Brown  and Andy Nicholls (TB38 Underpin Racing), Kieran Wynne-Cattanach (Maxxis 4 RT), Joseph Clark (Cycling Sheffield Giant) are listed. Wynne-Cattanach also goes for the Halifax Imperial promotion. Zeb Kiyffin (GS Metro) is the big name in the Sunderland Clarion hill climb.

 

Time trials include Gloucester CC `25` with Dean Robson (Northover Vets-Rudy Project) and Etienne Georgi (Team Wiggins); the Oxonian CC `25` with Jonathan Wears (SSLL RT) and Tim Cartwright (Newbury RC) and the Welsh CA Championship `50` with Anthony Jones (Towy RCC) and Victor Chetta (Mid Shropshire Wheelers)
