Easter weekend preview

Although the Knight Composites Classic TT Series is the main attraction for the holiday weekend there are plenty of other events to claim attention. Philip Graves (NOPINZ) goes for two events, Saturday’s Otley CC Yorkshire Spoco `10`, where he faces Dan Evans (Adept Precision RT), and Sunday’s Cleveland Wheelers Sporting `18`. Peter Tadros (In Gear Quickvit Trainsharp RT) spends the week end riding Saturday’s Brighton Mitre CC Hilly `10` followed by the club’s Monday’s Hilly `25`.

 

Matt Sinclair (Lutterworth Cycle Centre) goes for the Sleaford Wheelers Charity `10` which also includes William Perrett (Langdale Lightweights) and Alexander Coleman (Alford Wheelers) while James Gullen (JLT Condor) looks to continue his current successes in the North Lancs RC `10` which also lists Stuart Travis (Team Bottrill-HSS Hire) and Joe Simmons (Brixton CC) plus, among the women, Rebecca Rimmington (Team WNT Pro Cycling).

 

Marc Turnbull (TORQ Performance) and David Crawley (Velotik RT) ride the Macclesfield Wheelers `25` while Richard Bickley (Border City Wheelers) heads the field in his club’s 21-mile event. SSLL RT duo Alastair Wareham and Joel Wainman are the top tips for the Stocksbridge CC `21` event which also  incorporates the district championship . Kieron Davies (Drag2Zero) is the man to beat in the Hereford & District Wheelers `25`. Still at 25 miles, the A3crg event has Liam Maybank (Twickenham CC), Lee Turner (Sigma Sport), Peter Harrison (AS Test Team) and James Copeland (Fareham Wheelers) while the Bishops Stortford CC Hilly `25` includes Colin Ward (Essex Roads CC) and Richard Price (London Phoenix) and veteran Ann Shuttleworth (Chelmer CC).
