The Knight Composites TT Series continues apace with the second leg of the six-round series taking place on Good Friday, the Buxton CC promotion at Longnor. The winners of round one, Joshua Williams (Team Bottrill-HSS Hire), Hayley Simmonds (Team WNT Pro Cycling), Junior Adam Robertson (Verulam CC) and paracyclist Rik Waddon (Para-T) are all back.
Williams comes up against the on-form James Gullen (JRT Condor), Dean Robson (Northover Vets-Rudy Project), Jack O’Neil (Team Jewson-MI Racing), plus his own team mates George Evans and Brett Harwood, third in this event last season when Philip Graves took the honours.
Biggest challenge for Simmonds should be Sarah Storey (Storey Racing) in a field that also includes Crystal Spearman (NOPINZ) while leading veteran Danny Axford (Arctic Tacx RT) will be looking to better his second place in the opening round.
Adam Robertson defends against Zak Coleman (Team Pedal Revolution), runner-up last time, Harry Buxton (T.H.R.E. Datawolves RT) and Sam Morris (Revolutions Racing) in the Junior’s event.
The Men and Espoirs face three laps of the Longnor Circuit for a total of 33 miles while the rest of the riders do two laps for 22 miles. The event kicks off at 11am. The full fields can be found on our start sheets page.
