Two of our top champions are in action over the weekend British Best All Rounder Richard Bideau (Pendle Forest CC) rides his club’s 27-mile Hilly event where the opposition includes James Gullen (JLT Condor) and Mark Nulty (Glossop Kinder Velo CC) while 2016 RTTC Classic Series winner Philip Graves (Clifton CC York) goes for two time trials, the Malton Wheelers 10.5 mile promotion, with Adam Duggleby (Vive Le Velo) also listed, and the Yorkshire CF `10` where Scott Burns (Drag2Zero) opposes.
Dean Robson (Northover VT-Rudy Project) runner up to Graves in the TT Series, goes for the Gillingham & District Wheelers `19` with Rob Pears (Bath CC) the man to challenge.
Rob Sharland (Paceline RT) has a crack at a win double when he rides the Farnborough & Camberley CC `10`, where Matt Langworthy (Mid Devon CC) also rides, followed by Sunday’s Dorking CC East Surrey Hardriders 29.9-miles promotion where John Dewey (Team Bottrill-HSS-Hire) offers the biggest challenge. Peter Tadros (In Gear-Quickvit Trainsharp), Simon McNamara (South Downs Bikes), Jamie Pire (Nuun-Sigma Sport) and Alice Lethbridge (Drag2Zero) also ride.
Daniel Barnett (Team Bottrill-HSS Hire), Shaun Eden (Mapperley CC) and Steve Gibson (Peak RC) go for the VTTA North Mids 14.7-mile time trial while Simon Beldon (SSLL RT), Adam Gascoigne (Giant Store Rutland-Wattbike) and Julian Ramsbottom (Pedal Pushers) can be seen at the Scunthorpe RC `10`.
