Here we go another season is here and the Southdowns Bikes 33.8km event kicks things off this weekend. Last year Pat Wright (Paceline RT) won the event that was run over two days with Wright coming out on top in both tests. This time Wright once again comes up against Chris McNamara (Nuun-Sigma Sport-London RT), who finished in third spot in both of last year's events.

Chris McNamara has already notched up a win this season, taking the New Year's Day Southborough & District Wheelers `10` ahead of Simon McNamara (Southdowns Bikes) and Mike Piper , both present on Sunday.
