HQ: Ellesmere Centre, Ley Road, Stetchworth, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 9TS. There is parking at the centre. The Centre will be open from 1 PM.
To get to the start from the HQ turn right out of car park, follow Ley Road, becomes High Street to crossroads (1.3 miles) where straight over to Stetchworth roundabout, 2nd exit to the start which is the Police layby on the left.
Instructions to riders:
• No U Turns are allowed within sight of either the start or the finish points. Riders carrying out this dangerous manoeuvre are liable for disqualification from the event and further disciplinary action by the district committee.
• No parking at the start or the finish, except for officials cars.
• Riders must collect their Body Numbers from the event HQ
• Care must be taken at all turns, especially at Dunsley Corner, which is acute, and at the junction in Six Mile Bottom where riders must give way to traffic approaching from the right on the A1304.
• Riders are reminded that dropping litter(such as energy gel wrappers) is a criminal offense and the offenders will be liable to disciplinary action by the Disrict Committee
In the interest of your own safety, Cycling Time Trials strongly advise you to wear a hard shell safety helmet that meets the internationally accepted safety standards. All junior riders and/or riders under the age of 19 years are required to wear a suitably approved helmet. Cycling Time Trials recommend the use of a flashing rear light whilst competing.
