The CTT and the event organizers advise riders to wear a hard shell helmet which conforms to international safety standards.
Also recommended is the fitting of a flashing or constant rear light, positioned so that it is clearly visible to other road users and which is active during the event
KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AT ALL TIMES. MARSHALS ARE ONLY THERE TO POINT THE WAY, NOT TO STOP THE TRAFFIC IN YOUR FAVOUR.
