Headquarters are in the Bickerstaffe Football Clubhouse, Hall Lane, Bickerstaffe, Ormskirk, Lancashire L39. Toilets, changing. Refreshment drink on return of number. Parking is available in car park for about 30 cars. Parking in Hall lane and Church road is also possible NO PARKING IN INTAKE LANE.
In the interest of Safety , Cycling Time Trials and the Liverpool Phoenix C.C. (Aintree) recommend that you wear a hard shell helmet that meets internationally accepted safety standards.
Please adhere to all road safety requirements as this Time Trial is on public roads.
Obey any instructions that Marshals may require you to follow.
NO ‘U’ turns near start or finish. On finishing you must continue up the lane to the headquarters and the results board. DO NOT head back towards the A570 in the direction of riders starting out on the course.
YOU MUST SIGN ON YOUR OWN NUMBER.
Please note, the headquarters are NOT in the layby on the A570 and if you park here please do not return until the last rider has reached the dual carriageway.
(To prevent slow returning riders blocking traffic and preventing competitors from proceeding safely)
In the interest of safety, after finishing, riders should continue on towards the Headquarters.
