Two stage open hill climb on very contrasting climbs.
Stage 1 (MH16) - Starts at 10:00 in Whitfield on the A686 heading towards Alston. 4miles long at an average gradient of about 4%, though the prevailing southwesterly winds usually make it feel far steeper.
Stage 2 (MH15) - starts at 12:00, right next to the HQ, heading east towards Keenly. 1.1 miles at an average gradient of 7%, but touching 20% by the hairpin on the first sections.
HQ located at Whitfield Village Hall. NE47 8HD.
Generous buffet and tea/coffees provided for entrants, usual cash prizes. Plus we have a pub next door for any spectators coming out to watch stage 2.
