Feniton Pfa Social Club, Station Road, Feniton. EX14 3DF. Please allow yourself 5 minutes to reach the start. The most direct way to the start form the HQ is by turning right onto Station Road and then left at the end and going over the railway crossing. Please be aware that the crossing will close for passing trains at 6.50pm, 7.20pm and 7.50pm approximately so allow time or riders can cut across the housing estate opposite the Social Club via York Crescent and Wells Avenue.
On the old A30 at the lay-by approximately 200 yards east of Patterson's Cross, Feniton, prior to the splay end of the lay-by. Proceed eastwards to go under the railway bridge and join the new A30. Continue along the A30 to pass Honiton and filter left onto the slip road signed "Dorchester". Cross over the A30 and then turn sharp right to re-join the A30 westbound, taking care crossing oncoming traffic which have right of way. Pass Honiton and at the slip road signed "Ottery St Mary" filter left to leave the A30. GIVE WAY at the base of the slip road and turn left onto the old A30. Proceed to a point 101 yards prior to the parapet of the old railway bridge and some 200 yards short of the start point where finish.
No "U" turns within the vicinity of the start or finish area.
No parking in the lay-bys at the start or finish areas other than the timekeepers.
All breaches o local regulations shall be reported to the District Secretary.
Start area: all competitors waiting their turn to start must remain inside the dotted white line area of the lay-by. Any rider failing to do so will not be allowed to start.
Return to the old A30 form the new A30: any rider crossing the central white line when emerging from the A30 slip road onto the old A30 shall be disqualified from the event and reported to the District Committee who may decide to take further action.
Riders are strongly advised to wear a hard shell helmet and a rear LED light.
