The season opening Kettering CC Mark Bell Memorial Hilly reverts back to its roots for 2018 onwards. Instead of the single 20 mile loop the event will run over 2 laps of the shorter 13.2 mile circuit that takes in the southern half of the 20 mile circuit but turns left at Brigstock to follow the lumpy Brigstock to Grafton Underwood road, rejoining the 20 mile circuit at the Grafton Underwood crossroads. The northern section at the busy Stanion roundabout and the run through Geddington is bypassed.
