The Competitions

The RTTC National Championships

The RTTC National Championships showcase the best in competitive cycling, featuring a range of events from 10-miles to the ultra-endurance challenges of 12 and 24 hours. Riders can also compete in the Team Time Trial Championship, Hill Climb, Circuit Championship, Road Bike and a unique Closed Road Circuit event that also features para-cycling and hand-cycling championships.

The RTTC Classic Series

The RTTC Classic Series is a points-based competition held on sporting courses across the nation. To fully qualify for competition points, participants must complete at least four events with their best four performances qualifying. From 2025, the series is for road bikes and para-cyclists only.

The GHS Championship

The GHS Championship is a unique event for riders under 17 years old. Unlike other championships, competitors don't need to be members of affiliated clubs—they can represent their school, making it an inclusive and accessible competition for young talent.

The British Best All-Rounder Competitions

The British Best All-Rounder (BBAR) competitions are based on each rider's fastest single performance in eligible events throughout the season. The 3-distance BBAR tests ultra-endurance with events covering 50 miles, 100 miles, and a 12-hour ride. The 4-distance BBAR includes events of 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, and 100 miles.

Performances are calculated in miles per hour, with the average determining the final ranking. Riders can compete in as many BBAR qualifying events as they wish to improve their times, with only their best performances counting towards the competition.
