Prolific time trial winner Dean Robson (No Pinz) added the Cheltenham and County CC 22-mile event to his list of 2016 victories after a convincing performance on Sunday.

Already with several wins under his belt this season, the 29-year-old from Taunton clocked 46.36 for the U75 course based on Daglingworth, which takes riders from Stratton to Severn Springs roundabout and on to Perrots Brook.

That time gave him the win by a comfortable margin of 2-45 over his nearest rival David Janes (VC Walcot), while just five seconds further back was Matthew Griffin (Cycology Bikes) in third.

Richard Bussell (AeroCoach) just missed out on the podium by one second and was fourth – impressive given that he was on a road bike - while the only other rider to go under the 50-minute mark was 17-year-old Etienne Georgi (Giant CC-Halo Films) with 49.56.

Among Robson’s victories this season are last week’s VC Sevale 10 and Mid-Devon CC 23, the University of Bristol 10, Wrekinsport CC 18 and the Lanhydrock Wheelers 22, while he was also third in the opening round of the RTTC Classic Series on March 20.
