Tony Greenhalgh raced to victory in the Manchester and District TTA 10-mile time trial, staged on the J2/3 course near Goostrey in Cheshire on Saturday.

All three riders on the podium were veterans, while Robert Pollen (Ashley Touring CC) took fourth with 22-48 and was the first under-40 rider in the popular event which attracted over 100 competitors.

Vision Racing’s Claire Harrison was the fastest female, her time of 25.51 being 1-09 quicker than second female Louise Burnie (GB Cycles), while vet Molly Horsley-Frist (Buxton CC) was third, another 21 seconds back.
