(In case of roadworks on A40 between Raglan and Hardwick r/a) Start in Bus Stop layby opposite Ty'r Pwll (approx 0.15 mile east of Hardwick PH). proceed eastwards on B4598 via Penpergwm, straight on at Steel Horse Cafe to continue on unclassified road passing Llansantffraed Court Lodge to continue up Clytha Cutting to Raglan roundabout. Take 1st exit on A40 eastbound dual carriageway (care) and in 700 yards bear left (arrow) on unclassified road (old A40) and proceed towards Monmouth to junction with A40, one mile west of Mitchel Troy. Turn Left and immediately turn left again (CARE) to enter A40 dual carriageway westbound. Continue on A40 dual carriageway passing Services to Turn Left (arrow) signposted Abergavenny (remaining on A40 westbound) to Raglan roundabout. Take 4th exit, on unclassified road signpost Clytha. Continue westbound on unclassified road (care on Clytha Cutting) passing Steel Horse Cafe where road becomes B4598 and continue to Hardwick roundabout. Encircle roundabout complex to take 6th exit on B4598 signpost Usk to pass Start to complete first circuit. Continue as before to Raglan roundabout, taking 1st exit on A40 dual carriageway and in 700 yards take left fork on unclassified road towards Mitchel Troy. Turn Left and immediately turn left again (CARE) to enter A40 dual carriageway westbound. Continue on A40 dual carriageway passing Services to Turn Left (arrow) signposted Abergavenny (remaining on A40 westbound) to Raglan roundabout. Take 4th exit, on unclassified road signpost Clytha to continue on unclassified road to Finish in bus stop layby opposite 'the Coach House' and approx threequarters of a mile east of the start 50.08 miles.
