start on b3399 limerstone road approx 1 mile east of brighstone in lay-by/track entrance opposite public footpath number sw9. follow b3399 in a westerly direction into brighstone. turn left after church into new road sz429826 left again onto military road sz480820 to chale. turn left chale st. sz483775 at chale green turn left into town lane/emmett hill sz481802. turn left at beckfield cross sz482810 through kingston to shorwell roundabout. turn right sz457830 at roundabout follow road to carisbrooke turning left sz484883 at mini roundabout to follow the b3401 (middle road). at chessell - take the 2nd turn left sz395858 into b3399 and bearing left at brook, follow through hulverstone, mottistone, & brighstone, to finish just past brighstone, on the limerstone road at the village sign to the east of the village, 0.9 mile short of the start.
