On the North by the Lincolnshire boundary from Deeping Gate to the sea. On the South the Suffolk/Essex boundary to the A11, at Stump Cross. On the West the A11, A1304 to Newmarket, A142 to A14, A14 to A10 at Milton, A.10 to Stretham, A1123 to Huntingdon, A141 to B1043, the B1043 through Great and Little Stukely to Alconbury, the Old A1 to Norman Cross. A15, A605, A1139, A47 around Peterborough to the east, to A15 at Walton and A15 to Cambridgeshire/Lincolnshire boundary at Deeping Gate.

Liverpool

Those parts of Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire, Clwyd, Gwynedd, Ceredigion and Powys bounded by:

On the North by the River Ribble to Preston. On the East the A6 to A49 adjacent to junction 29(M6), A49 to Wigan, A49 via Warrington to Whitchurch (Cheshire Way Island), the B5476 through Whitchurch to join the A41 to Ternhill. The A53, A442 via Telford to Bridgnorth and B4364, A4117 to Ludlow. On the South A49, A4113, A488, A44, A470, A44 via Knighton, Cross Gates, Rhayader and Llangurig to Aberystwyth. Including the entrie Isle of Man.

London East

Those parts of Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Greater London bounded by:

On the north A14 from A10 at Milton to the A142, to Newmarket, A1304, A11 to Essex boundary at Stump Cross, the Essex boundary with Cambridgeshire and Suffolk to the sea. On the south the River Thames. On the west from London Bridge the A10 to Tottenham, the A1010 to Cheshunt, the B176, A1170 to Ware, A10 to Royston, A10 TO M11 (junction 11) and the A1309 to A10 / A14 junction at Milton.

London North

Those parts of Greater London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire bounded by:

On the North BY A421 and A422 from Bicester to Old Stratford, the A508 to junction with Grafton Way, a straight line to the A509 / A422 junction. A422, A428 to Bedford, the B660, B645, B661, and A1 TO A14 / A1 junction at Brampton, A14 to A14 / A141 junction at Huntingdon. A141, A1123 to the A10 at Stretham.  On the East by A10 to A14 at Milton, A1309 via Cambridge to A10/M11 (junction 11), the A10 to Royston, A10 to Ware, A1170, B176 to Cheshunt, the A1010 to Tottenham and A10 to the Thames at London Bridge. On the South the Thames to Westminster Bridge. On the West the A41 bypassing Watford, Hemel Hempstead and Tring to Aylesbury. The A41, A421, A4421 at Bicester.

London South

Those parts of Greater London, Kent, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex bounded by:

On the north by the Thames from Westminster Bridge to London Bridge. On the east the A2, A20 to Lewisham, A21 to Badgers Mount, A224 to Riverhead, A25 to M25 link road (junction 5), the A21 to Hastings. On the west the A284 from Littlehampton, A27 to Arundel, A284, A29, B2138, A283 via Petworth to Milford. The A3 from Milford to north of Guildford and then via B2215 through Ripley.  A3 to the crossing point with the A307 north of Cobham.  A307 via Esher to Kingston-upon-Thames and A308, A3 to the Thames at Westminster bridge.

London West

Those parts of Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Greater London bounded by:

On the North by A4260, B4100, B4031, B4100 from Banbury to Bicester, A41 through Aylesbury, bypassing Tring, Hemel Hempstead and Watford to the Thames at Westminster Bridge.  On the East the A3 to Wimbledon Common, A308 to Kingston-on-Thames, A307 (via Esher) to the crossing point with the A3 north of Cobham. A3 to B2215, through Ripley to rejoin A3. A3 to A272 junction at Petersfield.  On the South A272 from Petersfield to New Cheriton, B3046, B3047 to Abbots Worthy, A33 to junction with A303 south of North Waltham. A303, A34 to Whitchurch, B3400, A3093, A342, A346 to Collingbourne Ducis. On the West by A388, A346 via Marlborough to M4 (junction15) at Swindon, A419, A420 to Faringdon, A4095, B4020, B4474, B4020, A40 to Burford and A361 to Banbury.

Manchester

On the North by A577 from Wigan to Hindley, A58 via Bolton, Bury, and Heywood to Rochdale.  A58 to the boundary between Yorkshire/Greater Manchester at B6138/Blackstone Edge.  On the East by Yorkshire/Greater Manchester boundary to Salters Brook Bridge on A628.  A straight line to Sparrowpit on A623, straight line to A6/A5270 at Blackwell.  A5270, A515, B5053 to Froghall, A524, A521 to Cheadle, A522 to A50 junction at Uttoxeter. On the South by the A50 to where it crosses the road from Draycott to Cresswell, south on this minor road to Hilderstone, B5066, B5027, via Lichfield Road to A51, A51 to Aston-by-Stone roundabout and the A34 to the Walton roundabout. The B5026 to Eccleshall, A519 to A41 junction at Forton. On the West the A41 via Ternhill to the start of the Whitchurch bypass, the B5476 through Whitchurch to A49 (Cheshire Way roundabout), the A49, via Warrington to A577 at Wigan.

Midland

Those parts of Warwickshire, West Midlands, Hereford and Worcester, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire bounded by:

On the North the A41 from Ternhill to A519 at Forton. A519 to Eccleshall, B5026 to Walton roundabout at junction with A34. A34 to Aston-by-Stone roundabout, A51, minor road (Lichfield Road) to B5027, B5066 to Hilderstone and minor road to Draycott where it intersects with the A50 at Cresswell. A50, A522 to Uttoxeter Town Centre, the railway line to the A511 at Tutbury, A511 via Burton-on-Trent and including road through Coalville town to M1 (Junction 22). On the East the M1 south to it’s crossing of A426, A426 to Lutterworth. A427 to the junction with the A5, and A5 to Kilsby, A361, A45, A425 and A361 via Daventry to Banbury. On the South by A361 from Banbury to Chipping Norton, A44, A436 to Stow-on-the-Wold.  B4077 and A46 to A438 at Tewkesbury. A438 and A449 to Ledbury. On the North by the Scottish border from Gretna to the Northumberland boundary. On the East by the Northumberland boundary to A689 at Cillhope Moor. A689 to St.Johns Chapel and from there straight lines to A684 at Hawes, to A65 at Clapham, to A56 at Earby and A58 / B6138 junction at Blackstone Edge. On the South BY A58 via Rochdale, Heywood, Bury, Bolton to Hindley and A577 to Wigan. On the West the A49 and A6 to the River Ribble at Preston.

North East

Those parts of Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham bounded by:

On the North by the border with Scotland. On the South by a straight-line westwards from the sea to the junction of the A1086 / B1281 junction. B1281, A181 to Durham, A690 (via Willington and Crook), A689 (via Stanhope) to St. John's Chapel to Cumbria boundary at Killhope Moor. On the West by the boundary between Cumbria and Northumberland.

North Midlands

Those parts of South and West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire bounded by:

On the North by A628 from Salters Brook Bridge to A629 at Hoylandswaine Island. Straight lines to A628/A638 at Ackworth Moor Top Island, to A19/M62 at Whitley Island. M62 to M18 (junction 35) and straight line to River Ouse at Old Goole and by the Humber to the sea. On the South from the A52 / A1111 at Sutton on Sea westwards by a straight line to the A57 / B1241 junction in Saxilby and further to Dunham Bridge then by A57, A6075 via Tuxford to A614 / A616 at Ollerton Island. Straight line to A6/A615 at Matlock. A6 via Bakewell to junction with A5270 at Blackwell.
