A25/25 - Carlton on Trent - Long Bennington - Cromwell

HQ Area: Carlton on Trent

Start On the B1164 (Great North Road) approximately 0.5 miles north of Carlton-On-Trent, opposite the side entrance of Stafford Bungalow. Proceed south to the slip road junction with the A1 dual carriageway;
Turn 1 MERGE IN on slip road onto the A1 South and proceed to Long Bennington village;
Turn 2 BEAR LEFT OFF THE A1 on the slip road onto Main Road in Long Bennington Village;
Turn 3 TURN 1st RIGHT in village onto Valley Lane - great care needed -gravel and give way to oncoming traffic - and cross the A1 bridge;
Turn 4 TURN LEFT onto loop road to rejoin the A1 North and retrace to Cromwell Village;
Turn 5 TURN LEFT onto slip road signposted Cromwell;
Finish opposite 40mph sign as you enter Cromwell Village
