START along A465 dual carriageway heading east towards Blaengwrach at beginning of first lay-by on left, about 2 km east of the Resolven roundabout. Continue eastwards on A465 dual carriageway to Blaengwrach ("Macdonalds") roundabout; FIRST left, (s/p B4242 Glyn-neath) continue about 350 m on cross-valley link road to junction with old Vale of Neath road; turn left (s/p B4242 Resolven) going westwards via Pentreclwydau to pass the Finish line - about 200 m past Rheola Pond and opposite Rheola main entrance (4.05 miles); continue past "30" sign at Resolven; continue on B4242 via Abergarwed and Ynysarwed to climb Rock and Fountain hill; Continue westwards on B4242 past Aberdulais village sign to junction with A4109; bear left with extreme care - GIVE WAY - down A4109 to Aberdulais interchange where take first left down slip road to join A465 dual carriageway eastbound. Proceed eastwards to Resolven roundabout. Take 2nd exit, continuing on A465 passing START point; continue eastwards on A465 dual carriageway turning left at Blaengwrach roundabout; left again via Pentreclwydau, etc. to pass finish line opposite Rheola main entrance (19.427 miles) Then complete another TWO laps, to Finish opposite the lodge to Rheola main entrance (50.198 miles).
