COURSE DETAILS:
START level with front door of Great Hormead Village Hall. Follow B1038 eastwards through Brent Pelham (M-CARE) to the Cricketers PH, Clavering. Left (M) to Arkesden CARE where Right (M) at end of village to junction with B1039. Sharp left (M) and 1st left (M) again to Newland End, where right and right again. Ignore left turns to Duddenhoe End and until turning left (M) onto B1039. In Great Chishill turn left to Shaftenhoe End where left onto Little Chishill Road (M) to Langley Lower Green (M). Turn right to Brent Pelham where right (M) (GREAT CARE) onto B1038 to FINISH 100 yards past start at T.P.617.

OUTGOING RIDERS HAVE PRIORITY
The START is 4 miles east of the A10 at Buntingford. The roads are ALMOST traffic free but are twisty and deceptive and slippery when wet, so keep your heads up and enjoy your ride!
As the course involves narrow country lanes, PLEASE ENSURE DUE COURTESY IS GIVEN TO ALL OTHER ROAD USERS!! Please take care through all villages, especially Arkesden.
Due to the conditions of the surface on some roads. LIGHT TYRES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
NO U TURNS allowed within sight of START / FINISH area – please take care in this vicinity
• CAR PARKING MUST be in Village Hall Car Park (DC request).
• Please keep noise to a minimum near Village Hall
• EXCHANGE your number for a drink after finishing.
• VILLAGE HALL opens from 07:30 where numbers and signing on sheets will be located
• STATIC TRAINERS - In respect of consideration for local residents, the use of static trainers eg. Turbo trainers, is banned from all morning events held in the London East District.
IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. All Juniors and/or riders under the age of 19 years are required to wear a suitably approved helmet.
Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters recommend the use of a flashing rear light whilst competing.
