Despite the forecast threatening thunder storms we were blessed with mostly sunny and moderately blustery conditions, and we were also graced with some exceptional performances from local fastmen Matt Sinclair. Lutterworth Cycle Centre RT, in 3rd with 20m11s and Matthew Bottrill, www.Drag2Zero.co.uk, in 19m43s, but top spot was taken by Rapha Condor Sharp rider Richard Handley with a fantastic new course record of 19m25s.

Category prizes were also won by Andy Smith of North Notts Olympic RC and Andrew Warby of the promoting club, and Charles McCulloch took the Vets prize on Std with a time of 20m28s and +6m15s.
