EVENT HEADQUARTERS:
LONG BENNINGTON PLAYING FIELDS (NG23 5FB). situated in the village on right hand side approx 1/2mile after exit from A1 (South bound).Carpark, changing rooms, toilets, signing-on sheets, numbers, result board & refreshments will be located here.
It is around 1 mile to the start from the HQ.
From HQ, Turn Right from HQ and continue along road (old A1) to the Start.

PLEASE READ
Rider must TAKE CARE When joining the A1 (South) and on returning from Gonerby Moor roundabouts. TRAFFIC ON THE A1 TRAVELS FAST & RIDERS MUST BE AWARE OF THE APPROACHING (FROM THE REAR) TRAFFIC.
Riders must keep close to the edge of the road, & not ride in a manner that obstructs overtaking traffic.
Riders should watch for traffic that may cut across their PATH when leaving or joining the A1
At Gonerby Moor Roundabouts Riders must watch for Vehicles turning on & turning off at roundabouts, & SIGNAL when necessary. RIDERS MUST NOT CUT THE CORNERS.
After finishing TAKE CARE in returning to HQ as parked vehicles reduce road width and visibility.
Riders must be alert for ANY potential hazards & be prepared to take action on their own initiative to avoid accidents. Please be sensible and have a good safe ride.
IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, CYCLING TIME TRIALS, AND THE EVENT PROMOTERS, STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU WEAR A HARD SHELL HELMET THAT MEETS AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCEPTED SAFETY STANDARD.
Hard Shell Helmets compulsory for riders aged under 18 years, and for Juniors.
