Please do not warm up on the course once the first rider has started, there is another hill a ¼ mile to the east past Hackness Hall and under the stone bridge you can use.

The results board will be in the finish car park area so please wait here once you have finished.

Note:
There are no headquarters for this event but facilities are available at Hackness Village Hall ¼m south from the start.
It was hoped to use the village hall for the HQ but there is an arts & crafts fair on, tea & scones etc are available.

Numbers and signing on will take place at the foot of the climb in the end of the parking layby

In the interest of your own safety, CYCLING TIMETRIALS, and the Event Promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard.
In Accordance with Regulation 15 ALL JUNIOR competitors must wear Protective Hard Shell Helmets
It is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is active while the machine is in use.

Course V491 - 880yards - Gradient 11% average – max 25%
This hill is OK for fixed gear machines with no flat or down hill sections

START on unclassified road ‘Kirkgate’ leading north from Hackness to Silpho at southern end of old stone building 48yds from the bottom road. Proceed north 880yds to FINISH at centre point of car park entrance half way to Silpho village.
