NOTE: Riders are requested to call out their number at the FINISH
and observe local regulations:-
NO ‘U’ TURNS are allowed within sight of either the start or finishing points. Riders carrying out this dangerous manoeuvre are liable for disqualification from the event and further disciplinary action by the District committee.
NO WARMING UP on roads of the designated course after the event has started.
STATIC TRAINERS -In respect of consideration for local residents, the use of static trainers, eg; turbo trainers is banned from all morning events held in the London East District.
PARKING The parking of vehicles on the verges of the B1383 is forbidden. Parking and toilet facilities are available at the EAGLE CLUBHOUSE HQ. (next to the “Chequers” car park.) Please park in Clubhouse grounds NOT in Chequers Car Park
Riders waiting to start MUST NOT STAND IN THE ROAD, but confine themselves to the lay-by south of the start.
You are requested not to approach the timekeeper at the finish; any queries will be dealt with at the Result Board in the clubhouse grounds.
Safety Note:
IN THE INTERESTS OF YOUR OWN SAFETY, Cycling Time Trials and the Event Promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. All competitors under the age of 18 on 31st Dec next must wear a properly affixed protective helmet of a hard/soft shell construction
It is hoped that competitors will remain at the Clubhouse, as the prizes will be presented after the finish of the event at approximately 11:00am
Body numbers will be available at the event headquarters when signing on
