Event Headquarters, numbers, result board and parking is on the old road signposted “SIZERGH CASTLE” to the north of the A590 approx. 150yards South West of Sedgwick Roundabout. Riders leaving for the start should not cross or do a ‘U’ turn on the A590 but should turn left and encircle the roundabout. Riders should not pass the start timekeeper whilst warming up.
The HQ is reached from the M6 (North or South) exit at Junction 36 and take the A590 (NW) for approx 3 miles. Bear left onto slip road and at roundabout (which is on the course at 11.759 miles) take the first exit which is again the A590. Immediately bear right and turn right (care on dual carriageway) into old road signposted “SIZERGH CASTLE” to the north of the A590. There is ample parking as shown on the map on the old A6 and the minor road to Sizergh Castle.
Riders should note that it is their responsibility to make the correct SAFE manoeuvres at all roundabouts and ensure that on the first lap they take the first exit from Meathop Roundabout onto the B5277 and turn at the mini roundabout in Lindale village while on the second visit they encircle Meathop Roundabout and retrace on the A590.
