NOTES TO RIDERS AND HELPERS AND LOCAL REGULATIONS

No Warming Up by competitors on the course once the event has started

No U-Turns are allowed within sight of either the start or finishing areas. Riders carrying out this dangerous manoeuvre are liable for disqualification from the event and further disciplinary action by the District Committee.

Marshals placed to direct competitors off the main carrageways MUST NOT stand at the apex between the carriageway and the slip road, but should be located at the start of the slip road It is recommended by the event organizer and London East D.C. you wear a fluorescent bib/jacket
Riders are reminded that dropping litter is a criminal offence and offenders will be liable to disciplinary action by the District Committee.
There is to be no parking in the vicinity of either the start or finishing points, except For the Timekeepers cars.

Riders Safety
Cycling Time Trials and the Event Promoters strongly advise you wear a HARD SHELL SAFETY HELMET that meets an internationally accepted standard .All junior and/or riders under the age of 19 years are required to wear a suitable approved helmet.Cycling Time Trials and the Event Promoters recommend the use of a flashing rear light whilst competing.
