Promoted by the West London Cycling Association. This event is being run for and on behalf of Cycling Time Trials under their rules and regulations. In the interests of your own safety, Cycling Time Trials and the event promoters strongly advise you to wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard.  Further details of these may be found in the CTT Handbook.

NUMBERS WILL BE AT THE HEADQUARTERS - RIDERS MUST SIGN ON.
HQ will be open from 07:30.

Allow at least 15 mins to ride to the start from the HQ

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please do NOT park on or near the course, especially the start (this is a private road) or in Shefford Woodlands.  This will help Newbury RC maintain good relations with local landowners and residents, and will help us continue to use the course in future

Notice to riders – National GHS final and course record

Thank you for entering the West London CA Open 10.  Why not stay afterwards and cheer on the riders in the National GHS event, which starts at 11-00?  The riders are the future of our sport, and they are sure to appreciate your support and encouragement.  Past GHS champions include Chris Boardman (1984), Ian Stannard (2003) and Nicole Cooke (1997-1999), so this event is a key part of reaching the very top of our sport.

The course record for H10/3A is 19 m 34 s, set by Michael Hutchinson at the CTT National 10 Championships in 2009.
